Playoffs

First, I would like to think everyone who came and supported Bayley. I really appreciate it. Karen, Thanks for the Pizza. That was a life saver.

So we lost to our rivals in a tough game but came back to take third out of 24 teams. It was an awesome day. Very stressful, long, exciting day.
It will be nice to have some Saturdays open for awhile, but I will miss those boys. Loved coaching. Can't wait till I do it next year.

Lions 0 Steelers 6 (7-1)

We lost. It was a tough game. Very good team. The playoffs are next week and should be very interesting. It was a very stressful day. I could tell all my boys were very nervous and tight and honesty a little scared to play the Steelers. Then its so hard to play all the kids in a tight very important game like that. But we did and the Steelers actually scored against our 1st string defense and our top player. So, you can't be mad about that. Just good football. I am getting a sick stomach again just talking about it, so I am done. Candice and I stayed out in Scottsdale Saturday night for our 11th anniversary. Very fun and relaxing.

Lions 33 Jaguars 6 (7-0)

We have one more regular season game till the playoffs. Our last will be very important for two reasons. We want a top seed in the playoffs and this team is one of the best. They are 6-1 and the coaches stayed around for our game and scouted the entire game. That got my juices flowing. But I worked up some new plays this weekend that should mix things up.

Team played great today. Defense shut down one of the highest scoring offenses today.

Halloween Party

Candy and I were invited to a Halloween party where we had to dress up. I hate dressing up.
We went as K-fed and a prego Britney Spears. Candice also carried around a fake baby.

Bayley' cousins Alec and Zach came down for the weekend. We had a blast. Candice was in New York doing Scrapbook business so there are not many football pics this weekend. Everyone doing good here. Mom, Jim and Grandpa came to see the football game. Abbey got in on a football game with some other kids during bays game. She kept bowing her head and saying amen before each play. It turns out she thinks the huddle is prayer time. I was rolling. I guess if you don't know any better it can look like that. Maybe the cowboys should have done more of that.

Part of History.

Last night I went to the Monday Night Football game against the Bears. For 3 quarters I witnessed the Cardinals play like a Championship team. First time ever. It was euphoric. Then I witnessed what is being called the greatest Choke Job in NFL History. I am still sick. And it's not from the Chili Cheese dog, Onion rings and Chocolate shake. Well, I had fun with my friends anyway.

Lions Week 4 Lions 15-Panthers 0 (4-0)

Last week I did not update after Bayleys game because Candice was teaching and I did not have any photos. The lions did win last week and we won today 15-0.
It was an especially important win because a good friend and fellow Rassballer (football league) of mine was coaching his two boys on the other team. Plus another boy on thier team was the son of Garret Hancock from Snowflake. We went to highschool together. So I really wanted to win. Loved every second of it.
I will post a few pictures. Other than that, nothing new. I wanted to post a poem Bayley wrote at school. We found it in his back pack. Nothing special, just really funny and cute.
