Trophy pool party with my boys and assistant coach Gino. He was a huge help this year. We are going to do it again next season. And yes, I am cross eyed.

Its been awhile since my last blog. We have moved into our home and our regular computer still is not set up. Anyway I just wanted to get some pictures of Bayley's football tournament on here. Our team finished 4th out of 20 teams and made it to the semifinals two saturdays ago. They had to play 5 games in one day. Words can never describe how proud I am of them. That day all the hard work and practices came together and they played unbelievably well. Bayley matured right in front of my eyes and threw the ball really well. He passed for a few touchdowns, had 2 interceptions, and caught a touchdown pass in the final game. That day was a day I will never forget. I am not sure if it was because I fell in love with my boys and had to watch them battle all day and walk off the field crying after losing the final game or if it was because I was living a dream of watching my son develop a love for the game and enjoy the compitition.

The following Saturday we played in another tournament for the Grand Canyon State Games.
The 5 best teams from all off the leagues played. In the first round we beat the team that beat us in the semi finals the previous week and went on to win the whole thing. It was the first time they lost all season. It was awesome. The kids were going crazy. Bayley caught the last touchdown to put us in front 12-6. We ended up losing in the 3rd round but they gained a ton of experience these last two weeks. Bayley has also been wanting to watch the Suns games with me and actually looks foward to them. Life as a Father has been good lately.

That sounds like so much fun, coaching Bayley's team and hanging with your boy watching the Suns game. It is great to hear how Bayley is playing football after all of those years coming out as the little kid to watch your games Curtis. Tell Bayley I said great job on the season and the tournament.
