Candice and I ran into Todd Heap while eating breakfast before our flight last week. Todd is one of my few football heros. I watched him play in High School, ASU, and the NFL. He is a good mormon boy from Mesa who married his high school girlfriend in the temple. He is now playing for the Ravens in the NFL. He made the Pro Bowl in 2003 and 2004 and is one of the top 3 tight ends in the league. He recently signed a contract extenstion for big big money. About$4.5 million per year for 6 years with a $7 million signing bonus. I also have my Todd Heap autographed football Tony asked him to sign for me when he stopped by his office. Anyway, I was just excited I was able to meet him and get a picture. He could not have been any nicer about it.

I'd play for less than half that. The Ravens could have picked me up for a much better deal. I bet their fans are upset.

That's sweet Curt. My bro. Eric played basketball with him at Poston Jr. High and Mt. View. I remember when Eric was in 9th grade and told us all about this "new kid" who was good at everything. It was the first time I remember hearing about Todd. It is interesting because his family scoped out Mt.View and decided to move so that he could have the exposure he needed in order to be successful. It worked! Awesome pic.

I think Dean and I sulked for a long time after the phone call on Saturday. I was so sad for him because I knew that those tickets are out of control good and to sit in those seats for a Game 7 playoff game is unheard of. I hope you had an incredible time. GO SUNS!
